This position is designed for a high‑caliber Service Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced dealership environment, understands the rhythm of a busy shop, and knows how to balance customer satisfaction, technician efficiency, and departmental profitability. The dealership in Cambridge, Ontario is looking for a strong operator who can lead from the front and build a service department that runs with precision and pride.


What You’ll Lead

  • Full daily operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer experience
  • Leadership of advisors, technicians, dispatch, and support staff with clear expectations and accountability
  • Monitoring and improving key metrics including CSI, technician efficiency, ELR, and shop productivity
  • Customer communication, conflict resolution, and retention strategies that build long‑term loyalty
  • Coordination with Parts, Sales, and Management to maintain seamless inter‑department operations
  • Oversight of warranty processes, OEM compliance, and proper documentation
  • Recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of all service personnel
  • Implementation of processes that improve speed, accuracy, and profitability

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • Proven success as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Service Advisor in a dealership environment
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable
  • Deep understanding of dealership service operations, KPIs, and workflow optimization
  • Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills, especially in high‑pressure situations
  • Experience with dealership DMS systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar
  • A mindset focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
