As a Boat Sales Consultant at [Company Name], you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire boat purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final sale. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and sales acumen to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities



  • Engage with potential customers, both in-person and remotely, to understand their boating needs, preferences, and budget
  • Conduct thorough product presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the features and benefits of various boat models
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our boat inventory, including specifications, pricing, and available options
  • Provide expert advice on boat selection, financing options, insurance, and aftermarket products
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets
  • Collaborate with the service department to coordinate pre-delivery inspections and customer orientations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our CRM system
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Attend boat shows, open houses, and other promotional events to showcase our products and generate leads
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining the showroom's appearance and organization

Qualifications



  • 1-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the marine or luxury goods industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate various types of boats
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extende
